Butterscotch Sauce 2
1 egg yolk
4 tbs. butter
¼ cup water
2/3 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup corn syrup
1. Beat egg yolk and add remaining ingredients and mix well.
2. Cook in a double boiler, stirring frequently until thickened.
3. Beat vigorously before using.
4. Serve hot or cold over ice cream.
Yield: Serves 8
