Angel Biscuits



5      Cups          Flour
1/4  Cup           Sugar
2      Teaspoons     Baking Powder
1      Teaspoon      Baking Soda
1      Teaspoon      Salt
1      Cup           Shortening
1                    Yeast Cake
2      Tablespoons   Warm Water
2      Cups          Buttermilk
2      Sticks        Margarine

Sift dry ingredients.

Blend shortening.

Dissolve yeast in warm water, let stand 5 minutes.  Add milk and butter.

Add yeast mixture to flour mixture.  Mix well.  Turn out on floured board.
Roll to thickness desired, cut out biscuits, let stand.

Dough can be refrigerated.

Bake at 450 degrees.
