Lemon Squares



1 cup sifted flour
¼ cup confectioner’s sugar
½ cup soft butter
2 eggs
1 cup granulated sugar
2 tbs. fresh lemon juice
1 lemon, grated
2 tbs. butter

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

1. Combine flour and confectioner’s sugar and then cut in the butter.
2. Place the dough in an 8 inch square pan.
3. Bake for 20 minutes.
4. Beat the eggs and other ingredients.
5. Place them in the baked shell and bake for 20 minutes.
6. Sprinkle with confectioner’s sugar and cut when cool.
